La Rose Noire Foundation, Inc. had undergone an audit for its DSWD Level 1 Accreditation. Benefits of this accreditation includes being featured in the DSWD annual report and Social Welfare and Development Journals as well as posting of documentation of the Foundation’s good practices and success stories on the DSWD website and endorsement of project proposals among others.

Ms. Eden A. Zacal of DSWD National Office Standards Bureau conducted the audit which started November 27 and lasted for two days. All of the Foundation’s facilities, documents- legal and administrative, starting from its date of establishment were checked and verified. Interviews with members of the Board of Directors, community leaders and beneficiaries of the Foundation’s livelihood and scholarship programs were exclusively facilitated by the auditor as well.
