The class 5 scholars of La Rose Noire Foundation experienced their first hotel facility tour last September 18, 2018. Best Western Bendix Hotel located at the heart of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga graciously welcomed and accommodated the Foundation’s 36 person delegation.

The group was divided into two and was given a simultaneous tour of the hotel facility including their guest rooms, function halls, bar and kitchen.

Best Western Bendix Hotel showcases three types of guestrooms, some of which are connecting rooms to accommodate a larger group suitable for families. All rooms are smoke free and are equipped with all the basic facilities a guest may need to feel at home and comfortable. Facilities for the physically challenged are also available.

The hotel also has two function rooms, which can accommodate up to 300 guests. The tour was led by the hotel’s Food and Beverage Manager Ms. Marian Navasa.

In addition to the tour, the hotel management also provided a brief discussion on basic customer service during the presentation of their accommodation types as well as a coffee making and baking demonstration led by their baristas and Kitchen Head Chef Lorenzo Vallado assisted by two of the Foundation’s alumni who are currently employed by the hotel as bread and pastry chefs.

After the tour, the group were served lunch at the hotel restaurant, Ruben Brew Bake Bar, named after the owners’ late patriarch, Ruben Patawaran. Complimentary Coffee Jelly drinks, one of Ruben Brew Bake Bar’s bestseller, were also served and enjoyed by the Foundation staff.
